Brahma, Vishnu, and Maheswara in one place
Annam means food in the Telugu language. Varam means boon; combining these two words, people used to pronounce the name of the town as Annavaram because, for the whole year, food will be served from this place. Situated on the banks of the River Pampa, over Ratnagiri Hills falls in Kakinada district, as per the Gazette in 2022 published by the Andhra Pradesh state government, Sree Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy, along with his wife Anantha Lakshmi on one side and Lord Shiva on the other side, will be blessing the devotees. The main idol is about 13 feet high in a cylindrical form, with the base in the lower sanctum representing Lord Brahma and the top in the upper sanctum representing Lord Vishnu.
Famous Satya Deva Vratham
A special worshiping process (vratham) by listening to the story of Satya Deva is very famous at Annavaram. The majority of newlywed couples will visit this temple to participate in this sacred deed. The belief prevailed regarding this: any wish that was requested to God at the end of the Vratham directly goes to Satya Deva, and he accomplishes that wish for the devotees.

Annavaram is adjacent to National Highway No. 16, in between Kathipudi and Tuni.
